Compatibilities:

All Sun Microsystems parts are known by at least two numbers, the X-Option number and the Part number. The best way to find out what part you have is the BarCode. Every part that Sun Microsystems sells has a Sun bar-code. This bar-code has both the part number and serial number of the part. (The X-Option number is not located on the part.) Notes:

1. The minimum operating system is Solaris 8 2/02.
2. Each SCSI interface supports Single-Ended (SE) or Low Voltage Differential (LVD) SCSI connections.
3. 501-6635 cannot be configured into an hsPCI I/O assembly (option X4575A) on Sun Fire 12K and 15K.
4. 501-6635 can be used with the newer hsPCI+ assembly (option X4576A) on Sun Fire 12K and 15K.
